London, UK (9 October 2026): Global popular cultural icon and Hollywood cinematic legend Sylvester Stallone has reached No. 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list after completing the global launch for his memoirs, ‘The Steps’ on October 3 in London, with an exclusive in-person event in central London officially attended in tribute by Talal Malik, Alpha1Media Founding CEO and writer-producer and author for ‘NANO’ (Technopolis), also published as a novel in 2026.

Sylvester Stallone, the multi-award winning writer, actor, director and producer, released ‘The Steps’, his first major memoirs, globally on September 29, 2026, appearing on key interviews in the US and UK, which culminated with a final one-night 80-minute book launch event at Central Hall Westminster in London, titled ‘An Evening with Sylvester Stallone’ as interviewed by British media personality, Jonathan Ross.

“2026 is a historic year with many significant milestones for Mr. Sylvester Stallone, and for ‘The Steps’ reaching No. 1 on the NYT Best Seller list, and I myself have attending the final global launch event in London in gratitude for the inspiration to write ‘NANO,’” said Talal Malik.

“These historic milestones in 2026 include Mr. Stallone turning 80 years old on July 6 this year; the global publication of his memoirs, ‘The Steps’ on September 29; the launch of the real-life movie biopic, ‘I Play Rocky’, on November 6 and the 50th Anniversary of his iconic ‘Rocky’ movie’s world premiere in New York on November 20, 1976, and its full release on December 3, 1976 during America’s 200th: with Alpha1Media’s global publication of ‘NANO’ as a novel on America’s 250th on July 4 from Independence Hall in Philadelphia, near the iconic ‘Rocky’ Steps, directly inspired by Sylvester Stallone’s creation of ‘Rocky.’”

‘The Steps,’ as published by Harper Collins, is described as “A gritty, inspiring, heart-wrenching memoir by the Academy Award-winning legend and icon Sylvester Stallone, about his unlikely path to stardom and the creation of the greatest underdog story ever told.”

NANO, as a novelisation by Talal Malik, was launched on the 250th Anniversary of the USA as a tribute to three global cultural milestones: firstly, the literary milestone of the Great American Novel, as represented by the 19th Century, with later examples such as Tom Clancy’s geopolitical thrillers like Jack Ryan’s ‘Clear And Present Danger’ and Michael Crichton’s technothriller, ‘Jurassic Park’; secondly, the cinematic milestone of the Hollywood Blockbuster Movie and Screenplay, as represented by the 20th Century such as Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Rocky’; and thirdly, the innovative milestone of the Global IP Franchise as represented by the 21st Century, such as ‘Spider-Man’ and Marvel.

NANO is a global sci-fi techno-thriller about American world-class scientist Dr. Michael Faris, who is blackmailed into doomsday nanotechnology, but then he must race across the Middle East, China, and Russia to avert a global catastrophe – from the weapons he has helped to make. NANO, the first of the new Technopolis franchise series, is now available in paperback, hardback and e-book in two editions, the Global Edition and America’s 250th Editon, across all global platforms such as Hatchards (1797, UK), Barnes & Nobles (1873, USA), Blackwells (Oxford, 1879), Foyles (1903, UK), Waterstones (1982, UK), Walmart (1945, USA), AbeBooks(1995, Canada), Amazon (1994, USA), Apple Books (1976, USA), Google Books (1998, USA), Rakuten Kobo, Bookshop.org, Strand Books, Ex-Libris, Thalia Tolino, Smashwords, Everand, Fable, Vivilio and many more.

Clips featured in Alpha1Media’s official video from the event include Mr. Stallone discussing how a New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square drove him for the next four years to dedicate himself to writing; how writing for him is mathematically composed in a way that it adds up to something, and that a lot of good novelists cannot write screenplays; Talal Malik with the global edition and America 250h Anniversary edition of ‘NANO with his first copy of ‘The Steps’; and Talal Malik at beside the iconic Rocky Statue at the Rocky Steps in Philadelphia during America 250 Anniversary in July 2026, holding both editions of ‘NANO’ and wearing the iconic grey ‘Rocky’ jogging clothes, in the middle of summer, with the sun at its zenith.

“I was also a pleasure to interact and speak with Sylvester Stallone and Jonathan Ross at the front of the audience,” said Talal Malik “I also find it, and did his team seated near me, that we had dressed virtually the same for the event, making this is uber-tribute.”

A prelude as to what is shown in Alpha1Media’s official video for the event, a female audience member had shouted inaudibly that Sylvester Stallone’s big break before Rocky was “29 and three quarters,” which Talal Malik, seated towards the front of the stage, then audibly relayed to Sylvester Stallone and Jonathan Ross.

Sylvester Stallone also attended the event wearing a blue pinstripe suit, open neck white shirt and red pochette pocket square, which was exactly what Talal Malik was wearing, only with the addition of his signature Hermes Faconnee H tie, this time in bicolore red and blue.

Westminster Central Hall was the location of first session of the United Nations General Assembly on January 10, 1946, the same year in which Sylvester Stallone was born on July 6, faces the United Nations Green, and is located across the road from Westminster Abbey, which has been the site of the coronation of every British monarch since 1066, and the Houses of Parliament at the Palace of Westminster and Big Ben, all featured in the official Alpha1Media video for the event, with Bill Conti’s iconic ‘Gonna Fly Now’ theme from ‘Rocky’, as the hero runs up 72 stone steps, the ‘Rocky Steps’ leading up to the East entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia.

Sylvester Stallone is a direct investor in Largo A.I., the Swiss-based film analytics company, which has been a strategic partner of Alpha1Media, with the firm estimating Global Film IP created by Talal Malik such as ‘NANO’ to be worth over USD $1 billion from the first three films released as part of a slate.

The latest review of ‘NANO’ as a novel was published on October 1, 2026 by NetGalley reviewer Emir Dedic stating, “I really enjoyed NANO. It was fast-paced, easy to get into, and the mix of science, technology and global stakes kept me interested throughout. It also gives you plenty to think about without getting bogged down in the technical details. Looking forward to the next one.”

The official video of NANO’s launch included scenes shot on July 4th, 2026 such as: Downtown Philadelphia; 360 degrees towards Philadelphia City Hall on South Broad Street;  Independence Square;  NANO at Supreme Court Room; NANO at Assembly Hall,  the heart of Independence Hall, and is the room where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed; Talal Malik in front of Independence Hall;  and Global and America’s 250th Editions in front of Independence Hall, and can be viewed on YouTube.

Prior to the launch, from June 30 to July 2, 2026, the first printed editions of NANO by Talal Malik from Alpha1Media were exclusively featured in the countdown to the book launch in front of the Empire State Building to Times Square in New York, then to the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in tribute to the Global IP of ‘Spider-Man’ and then to the iconic Rocky Steps in Philadelphia in tribute to the Global IP of ‘Rocky’ by Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone in its 50th Anniversary year, which can be viewed on YouTube.

The novel is adapted from Talal Malik’s original story and screenplay of the same name, co-written with Tamsin Astbury, with characters created by Alpha1Media. The screenplay is currently in advanced development as a global cinema release movie with a production budget of a major Hollywood blockbuster, having been featured at Cannes and Berlinale.

NANO has been envisaged as the innovative fusion of global geopolitics and science-fiction; balanced between the contemporary journalism of TIME and WIRED magazines and the best-selling thrillers of Tom Clancy and Michael Crichton; between real science fact, such as the White House’s National Nanotechnology Initiative, and global science fiction, as featured in Hollywood blockbuster movies such as Spider-Man, The Avengers and James Bond.

As part of Technopolis, the new exciting global franchise series exploring a near-future world reshaped by the metropolis city, technology, and the human impact of both, NANO is internationally released as the cutting-edge fast-paced cinematic novelization of a highly acclaimed screenplay and forthcoming film, which readers can first enjoy as a book, then as audience members at cinema theaters worldwide.

NANO is available in paperback (USD $16.99 / GBP £12.99), hardcover (USD $26.99 / GBP £20.99), and E-Book (USD $4.99) from Hatchards, Barnes & Nobles, Blackwells, Foyles, Waterstones, Walmart, AbeBooks , Amazon, Apple Books, Google Books, Rakuten Kobo, Bookshop.org, Strand Books, Ex-Libris, independent bookstores, and wherever books are sold, with two special editions covers, one being the Global Edition and the other being the America’s 250th Anniversary Special Edition.
