In the Quintessential category, the top 10 films from across all categories chosen, are ‘Man of Steel’, ‘After Earth’, ‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘The Tomb’, ‘Lincoln’, ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Berandal’ and ‘A Common Man’.
In The Blockbuster – Superheroes category, the first film selected is ‘Man of Steel’, matching Christopher Nolan, David Goyer and all at Syncopy with Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill – and then other films include ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘The Wolverine’ and ‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For’.
In The Blockbuster – Armageddon category, the first film selected is ‘After Earth’ which pairs Will Smith, his son Jaden with M. Night Shyamalan – and then other films to include ‘Oblivion’, ‘World War Z’, ‘Cloud Atlas’, ‘Elysium’ and ‘Pacific Rim’.
In The Global Cinema category, the first film selected is ‘The Great Gatsby’ matching Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Amitabh Bachchan in his first major Hollywood film – and the other films include ‘Berandal’, ‘A Common Man’, ‘47 Ronin’, ‘Rock the Casbah’ and ‘Spirit’ / ‘Djinn’.
In The Duel category, the first film selected is ‘The Tomb’ pairing Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger for the first time in actual roles, as opposed to a cameo – and the other films include ‘Djano Unchained’, ‘Gravity’, ‘Malavita’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘The Counselor’, ‘Winter’s Tale’, ‘The Big Wedding’ and ‘Gangster Squad’.
In the A1-Vehicles category, the first film selected is the Oscar-nominated ‘Lincoln’ directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Daniel Day-Lewis, with other films including ‘Knight of Cups’, ‘Jobs’, ‘The Last Stand’, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘The Lone Ranger’, ‘Bullet to the Head’, ‘Ten’, ‘Reach Me’ and ‘Jack Reacher’.
In The Franchise category, the first film selected is Bruce Willis as John McClane for the fifth time in ‘A Good Day to Die Hard’, with other films including ‘Star Trek into Darkness’, ‘The Hangover Part III’, ‘Jack Ryan’, ‘G.I.
